SamuelMathengeNdirituHon. Samuel Mathenge Ndiritu is an accomplished and transformational leader with unmatched experience in the Water Sector that spans 35 years. This includes 12 years’ experience as a Senior Water Technician at the then Ministry of Water Development.

Hon. Ndiritu was among the founding Directors of Nakuru Rural Water and Sanitation Company for 4 years before being elected as the first Member of Parliament for Gilgil Constituency. During his term, he served as a member of the Parliamentary Committee on Environment and Chairman to the Water Sub-Committee whose hallmark was enactment of the water act 2016.
Hon Ndiritu joined Central Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency then known as Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency as a board member serving under the Technical Services Committee and chairing the Finance and Corporate Services Committee.

During his tenure as a Director at NARUWASCO, Hon. Ndiritu was lucky to spearhead the implementation of the 2002 Water Act.
Hon. Ndiritu greatest Vision and mission is to increase the Water and Sanitation Coverage through Policy Formation, Implementation and Reporting, Community Mobilization and Budgeting.
Hon. Ndiritu is known for spearheading Charity Works which entailed support of Education through building of schools and also development of water Harvesting infrastructure for Schools.

About Us

The Central Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency (CRVWWDA) is one of the nine (9) Water Works Development Agencies in Kenya and was formed under Section 65 of the Water Act, 2016. It was established through Kenya Gazette Notice No. 4 dated 7thFebruary 2020. The region served by the Agency comprise of the five Counties of Nakuru, Narok, Laikipia, Baringo and Nyandarua.
