The Central Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency (CRVWWDA) came together on 20th December 2025 to celebrate a year defined by remarkable achievements, sustained growth, and collective resilience. Staff from across the Agency gathered in Baringo County for the annual end-of-year retreat, a moment of reflection, appreciation, and shared joy as the team marked the close of a demanding yet rewarding fiscal year.

The retreat provided more than just celebration. It was an opportunity to recognize milestones, both big and small, and reflect on lessons learned along the way. Each achievement highlighted the dedication, passion, and professionalism of the Agency’s staff, reinforcing the vital role that teamwork plays in driving impact and delivering essential water services across the Central Rift Valley.

Speaking at the event, Agency Chairman Hon. Mathenge Nderitu commended the Agency for its exceptional performance under the FY 2025/26 Performance Contract. CEO Douglas Murei expressed heartfelt gratitude to staff, acknowledging their unwavering belief in the Agency’s vision and their commitment to pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved through collaboration and shared purpose.

As the year draws to a close, CRVWWDA celebrates not only its accomplishments but also the resilience and unity that define its team. With a strong foundation built on dedication and professionalism, the Agency looks forward to the year ahead with renewed energy and a commitment to achieving even greater impact in the communities it serves.

About Us

The Central Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency (CRVWWDA) is one of the nine (9) Water Works Development Agencies in Kenya and was formed under Section 65 of the Water Act, 2016. It was established through Kenya Gazette Notice No. 4 dated 7thFebruary 2020. The region served by the Agency comprise of the five Counties of Nakuru, Narok, Laikipia, Baringo and Nyandarua.
